            Aaron is in his 10th year coaching for the Evansville Basketball Club.  In his 9 years with the Evansville Basketball Club, EBC teams have qualified for the AAU national Tournament 5 times, placing as a National Finalist twice.  His 2006 squad finised with a 37-11 record and won 4 tournaments and the 2007 team finished 30-13 and went to 4 final fours.

            Coach Thompson began his career at the University of Evansville, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Interpersonal Communications in 2000.  While there, he was a manager on the men’s basketball team where he served as a practice player and had coaching responsibilities.  In addition to coaching with the Evansville Basketball Club, Aaron served as the Freshmen Basketball Coach at Princeton Community High School in 2001-2002 and a Volunteer Assistant Coach at Evansville Harrison High School in 2002-2003.  He was also invited to coach in the Indiana “Top 100” workout in September of 2000.  In 2006, Aaron and EBC president Mike Thomas began conducting the annual Southern Indiana Exposure Workout.

            Aaron is a Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist with AstraZeneca. In addition, he has written articles with Mike Thomas for the Hoosier Basketball Magazine since 2004. He is the Southwestern Indiana contributor to HickoryHusker.com, and serves periodically as the color commentator for the University of Evansville Men's Basketball Teams on 91.5 WUEV. His wife Valarie, and their son Andrew, reside in Evansville
